Blackhawk Upper Control Arms to suit 200 Series Toyota Landcruiser

The well known 200 Series Blackhawk UCA is now upgraded & suited to increased front axle ratings of 2000kgs. Meaning they are suitable for fitment with any GVM upgrade throughout Australia & can be engineered to be fully road legal with your GVM upgrade.

Please Note: Some states require UCA engineering to be completed prior to GVM presentations the vehicle needs to be in a RWC state. Please discuss engineering with your installer.

The Blackhawk 4x4 UCA suitable for the 200 Series Landcruiser with a lift of 30-70mm, would be one of the best known aftermarket UCAs when it comes to fixing the steering kinematic of any lifted 200. The new heavy duty Roadsafe "Blackhawk" range of Upper Control Arms have been designed with ease of fitment & ongoing serviceability in mind, & are a necessity for various IFS models that have been lifted 30mm+.

The Roadsafe "BLACKHAWK" arms have been designed to restore camber & caster lost on IFS vehicles once they have been lifted, by correcting the angle of the ball joint. Without restored camber & caster settings lifted IFS vehicles will eventually show excessive tyre wear & experience ride & steering issues.
With greater radius & tube sizing to suit per application, the design allows clearance of the coils, during articulation, with the outer radius also adjusted to allow for the fitment (in some cases) of 35" tyres without the issue of the tyres rubbing on the arms during full lock.

Manufactured in Heavy Duty 32mm OD (6mm wall thickness) STKM13A Carbon Steel Tube, for optimum strength without putting too much additional weight onboard. We haven't gone with a complicated ball joint or bushing setup, they have been designed to take on the OEM spec componentry. Blackhawk Upper Arms are designed with 3 degrees fixed caster & optimally suited to lifts of 30-70mm, finished in dual layer coating including black e-coat & gloss black powder coat for maximum durability, rust protection & discreet installation. Designed to maximise clearance and travel, while giving 3 degrees of caster to suit 50-70mm lift, with bonded rubber bushes and to take the factory ball joint for maximum reliability.

Diff Drop Kit - 200 Series Toyota Landcruiser

When lifting IFS vehicles, the Constant Velocity or CV joints are put on an increased angle. This increased angle of the CV joint during operation can accelerate the wear on the joint, as well as putting additional stress on the CV boots leading to splitting & eventually premature failure of the CV. This wear is accelerated further if larger wider wheels &  tyres are fitted.

When lifting the 200 series cruiser, the Constant Velocity (CV) joints are put on an increased angle. The wear  is accelerated further if larger (wider) wheels and tyres are fitted.
The Roadsafe Diff Drop Kit is supplied complete with CNC Machined spacers and fitting kit.The bolt on  kit  corrects the geometry on the front  driveshaft and CV's, lowering the diff by approx. 25mm, thus reducing  the angles the CV joints need to operate on, and avoiding the expensive replacements of CV's and boots.

When fitting the Roadsafe diff drop kit in a 200 Series with ARB bash trays there may be interference & you will be required to space the bash tray in order to fit the kit.

SB043 Universal Bash Tray Spacer kits can be utilised by modification when fitting ARB bash plates on a 200 Series with the Roadsafe diff drop kit. When using this kit on a 200 Series the 8x spacers will need to be drilled out to 10.5mm. You will also need to source 8x M10x1.25p x 60mm long bolts (not provided)

Adjustable Panhard Rod - Rear Suits Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series

An absolute necessity on all raised 4WDs is the Adjustable Panhard Rod. Designed to correct axle alignment, the fitment of an Adjustable Panhard rod eliminates potential contact between tyre & body & improves handling issues on vehicles lifted 2" & above. All Roadsafe Adjustable Panhard Rods are heavy duty, single thread off car adjustable & come complete with bushings & steering damper mounting brackets where applicable.

The majority of Roadsafe Adjustable Panhards now come standard with high flex rubber bushings. This has been a gradual change based on customer demand. Our Roadsafe rubber bushings bring the factory ride feel to the upgraded replacement Adjustable Panhard rods. The high flex Roadsafe rubber bushings offer less noise, vibration & harshness over the polyurethane bushings for panhard applications.

Roadsafe Rubber & Urethane bushings are the same dimensions as the factory original, so all rods are manufactured to factory bush specifications. Bushing replacement if required is easy, just use the factory original or aftermarket. Design changes over time have seen the implementation of double nuts for extra security, 150mm of adjustment to suit 2-6" lifts & fine 2.0mm pitch thread for finer adjustability.

Roadsafe 4WDs Adjustable Panhard Rods are one of the few on the market that are manufactured from solid bar as standard, as well as boasting an increase in the outside diameter. It's only a matter of time for any vehicle that is used for serious off-road work that the factory panhard will break or bend. This will cause the body of the vehicle to move uncontrolled off centre to the chassis, damaging fuel filler lines, steering linkages & much more!
