Airbag Simple Inflation Kit PX01 Incab Control 

The Boss PX01 Simple Inflation Kit is our entry-level in-cab air management solution, designed to give you manual control over your Load Assist airbags at the lowest initial cost.

This kit uses traditional air lines and push-button air bleeds to adjust rear ride height from inside the vehicle. It provides reliable, functional airbag control without the added features of a digital management system.

How It Works

• A compact onboard compressor is operated via a toggle switch, inflating both airbags simultaneously.
• Two individual air bleed buttons (left and right) allow you to release air from each airbag independently.

This independent deflation control enables you to balance the cross weight of your vehicle — ideal when carrying uneven loads such as toolboxes, fridges or water tanks mounted to one side.

Installation Considerations

While the PX01 is our lowest-cost kit, it is not always the most cost-effective option overall. Unlike digital systems that require only wiring to be run into the cab, the PX01 requires air lines to be routed internally.

In many modern vehicles, limited space behind trim panels and tight firewall access can make routing air lines more difficult and time-consuming. Care must be taken to avoid sharp bends or kinks that could restrict airflow. As a result, installation can be more labour-intensive compared to a digital kit.

The PX01 is particularly well suited for:

• Customers wanting a simple, manual control system
• Installations where airline routing is straightforward
• Vehicles where ride height control from a canopy or rear compartment is preferred

If you’re looking for a basic, functional solution and are comfortable with a more involved installation, the PX01 delivers dependable airbag adjustment with independent side-to-side control.

For faster installation and simplified in-cab integration, a digital controller may be the better long-term solution — but for straightforward, budget-conscious air management, the PX01 remains a practical option.

We designed and began manufacturing our range of air compressors after trying many other brands only to be let down time and time again. Performance of other brand compressors are sometimes impressive, however they wear out quickly and take longer and longer to recover your air needs, that's if they re-start under load!

Other popular 12 volt air compressors just don't stack up to the BIG BOSS compressor. Make sure the alternator is up to the task because the bigger the compressor the more amps it will need! BOSS 12V air compressors do not require oil!

The designs are quick and easy to mount. Engine driven compressors available upon request, brackets are up to the installer.
