Flashlube Valve Saver Kit Series 2 - Updated Design

Updated modernised design, with a redesigned adjustment screw and a low-level fluid sensor with an LED indicator

Continuing Dr. Wolfgang Kleunner's legacy from 1979, the inventor of the Original Flashlube Valve Saver Kit and Valve Saver Fluid, Flashlube Pty Ltd are pleased to introduce yet another revolutionary product - the Flashlube Valve Saver Kit Series 2. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the Flashlube Valve Saver Kit Series 2 includes a 1 litre bottle of the TUV approved, iconic Flashlube Valve Saver Fluid to provide the ultimate long lasting protection from valve seat recession and comes with a multi-lingual label to accommodate for many different languages spoken in Europe.

Boasting a new, more modern design, the Series 2 Kit improves on the original and incorporates a low fluid level sensor with a red in-dash low fluid level LED warning light to alert the driver when the fluid needs to be replaced. The fluid rate adjustment screw comes with a locknut to secure the chosen adjustment and a one piece durable heat treated, nickle plated steel bracket ensures that the bottle is secured properly under the bonnet.

The Flashlube Valve Saver Kit Series 2 is available now, continuing Flashlube’s strength as market leaders in the LPG additive industry.

Features:

  • 20 Minute Do It Yourself installation
  • Suits all Vehicles
  • Free 1l Valve Saver Fluid
  • Ten Year guarantee
  • Australian Science Award Winner
  • Over 800,000 kits in use

Benefits:

  • Low Maintenance
  • Protects your engine all year round
  • Easy fitting to any make or model

Please Note: This unit contains a very fine micronite lubricant filter for maintenance free operation. Due to the purity of the Valve Saver Fluid, only minor adjustments are required on the needle valve. Other brands of lubricants will be unsuitable in this unit. They may not mix or vaporise properly in the air / fuel stream, and will block the micronite filter. Using products other than Flashlube in the kit may lead to engine damage, and will void the warranty.

Component Checklist:

  • 1 x Lubricant reservoir assembly
  • 1 x LED globe & wiring loom
  • 2 x Self-tapping mounting screws
  • 3 x Nylon ties
  • 1 x Manifold fitting
  • 1 x LED light sticker
  • 2 x “T” piece connectors
  • 1 x 1 litre bottle Flashlube Valve Saver Fluid

Having Problems?

Most problems can be traced to unsuitable vacuum port. Use a vacuum gauge to assess if there is sufficient vacuum, or consult a qualified mechanic for advice or installation.

  • Do not cut or use the gas supply line
  • Do not use the brake vacuum line
  • Do not use distributor vacuum line

If in doubt, we recommend the device be installed by a qualified motor mechanic.

Tech Info - LPG/CNG Why the Need for Lubrication

Flashlube Valve Saver Fluid forms a protective lubricant coating; the effect of separating the two metals by a film of lubricant prevents metal-to-metal contact stopping Valve Seat Recession.

Not all engines are designed with LPG/CNG as the fuel.

In engines converted to LPG/CNG , there is potential for higher valve wear due to the combustion properties of the fuel.

LPG/CNG as a fuel places significantly higher exhaust thermal stresses on the valves and valve seats, increasing wear.

Valve Seat Recession is where the valve seat sealing face wears into the cylinder head.

An engine on LPG/CNG runs hotter than designed, under extreme heat normal exhaust and inlet valves can lose their hardness and tensile strength.

The situation worsens as the valve face now hotter than designed and without lubrication preventing the metals touching pinpoint weld themselves together.

As the valves open, the welds break. Valves are designed to rotate consequently pitting the entire surface on both the valve and valve seat.
This leaves the valve face pitted, softened and vulnerable to increased wear. The valve face no longer seals, allowing hotter exhaust gases further heat the surface accelerating wear.

The grinding created by the rotational valves, wear away the seat and guides. Resulting in lost compression and power.
