Headlight Adaptor Levelling Bracket Toyota Hilux SR5 

How the Terrain tamer levelling sensor works. 

The Terrain Tamer replacement adaptor bracket has the same 8mm hole to bolt it to the spring, as well as a further 5 holes to bolt it to the rose joint.

The aim of the longer multi-hole adaptor is to keep the rose joint as near as the possible to the original position.

When the camber of the spring is raised by a replacement part, or by additional leaves being added, the bracket rivetted to the spring is moved lower & further away from the chassis. If still using the OE factory fitted 2-hole adaptor, this sends a message to the headlights to rise.

By using the Terrain Tamer 5-hole adaptor, the headlights can maintain the original factory setting as four of the 6mm holes in the Terrain Tamer adaptor are above the holes in the OE adaptor, thus compensating for the lowering of the real position of the 8mm bolt.

Note: Will not suit the Rogue or Wide Body 2024 GR Sport models.
