This wiring kit it is used to make LED Headlights and globes compatible in Toyotas and Suzukis, and any other vehicle with earth switching/reverse polarity.
This is a 2 banger loom – it will do 2 x headlights. If you 4 x lights we also list same loom but for 4 x lights
This loom will fix all the following in LED as well as conventional lighting:
- Make conventional lights or globes brighter
- Negative or Earth switching (which all toyotas have).
- Reverse polarity issues.
- Blue hi-beam dash light.
- Spotties not coming on in high beam.
- Some cars have computers polling to test loads and these satisfy those computers too.
- Brighten globes by providing heavy duty fat power cable and earth wiring to globes so you can run hi wattage globes up to 150w. Even standard globes will run a lot brighter.
So this does everything and that’s why we call it the super loom.
No matter what brand of LED you are trying to use, if you have a Toyota or a Suzuki then you need to sort out your wiring.
- It has one plug that goes into one of your old headlight sockets. That’s how the controller in the harness receives the message that the lights are on and in high or low beams.
- The loom presents you with 2 new headlight sockets, one for each light.
- The loom has wire with a 30 Amp fuse going to +ve on the battery.
- The loom has an earth wire that can go to an earth on the body or to -ve on the battery.
It’s the ultimate headlight problem solver.
How does this compare to Canbus? Canbus loads up the system to simulate conventional globes operating and yes Toyotas need that to make the blue light on dash and the spotlight trigger work. But Toyota also need to solve the earth or negative switching – Conventional Canbus do not do that but our JTX Load modules do fix earth switching. But where the superlooms trump our JTX load modules is they give a new conventional earth to the lights and so things like DRL Halo now work properly as they need an earth that’s otherwise not really there unless the light is turned on. If you just want the JTX Load Modules, here’s the link to our JTX CANBUS Modules
