Also known as an Add A Leaf. This XTra Leaf pack aids in the prevention of sag of constantly heavy vehicles.
This kit was specifically designed for the 1500 Silverado. It doesn’t fit other vehicles so watch for cheaper alternatives that are a one kit fits all.
It suits standard height LTZ as well as lifted variants such as Trail Boss and ZR2 – safe to say all 1500’s
At AAA we set out to come up with a DIY kit that can be posted to customers and fitted in their driveway or by their mechanic. Essentially this kit adds an extra leaf to the spring pack on each side. We found most leaf spring specilists all wanted the car in their workshop or they wanted your leaf spring sent to their workshop – neither were an option in our opinion. It;s a simple task deserving of a simple fix.
Who needs these : People who carry a heavy load all of the time and face a constant sag need these. Our AAA Air bag kit will solve that too but the bags are intended for the occassional load such as towing a van or work trailer then going back to soft when unloaded. If you are always loaded then you need a stiffer spring pack.
The job can be done in your driveway at home – you will need a jack stand and a trolley kack to raise the chassis. You will need a socket set as well as vice grips and a G-Clamp. That’s about all.
We also do air bags. At AAA Suspension we were first to market with our Air Bag Kit. The air bags can carry extra heavy loads and are ideal for towing caravans, work trailers or slide on campers. The concept of the bags are that you haven’t made the springs stiffer and you can go back to factory softness by airing down when unloaded. The AAA Air Bag kit is the only bag on the market with internal bump stops and a 10 year guarantee. We get folks coming in who need and get both the Xtra Leaf and Bags.
If you get both the AAA XL38 XTRA Leaf as well as the AAA LA38 Air Bag kit we will throw in a free upgrade to AAA’s exclusive stainless braided lines for the air bags worth $225.
Everything is stocked at our factory warehouse in Hastings Victoria, Australia. Customers may pick up, get kits fitted by us and we post kits out using Aus Post with tracking same or next day. We have also developed a network of authorised dealers where you can not only buy or have kits fitted but we stock them with spare parts in case you need a quick fix or part mid way through a trip.
