Important Notice – 4WD Applications with Raised Suspension.
The suspension lift noted in the catalogue should only be used as a guide, as there are many factors including other vehicles modifications that can alter the
driveshaft geometry in the vehicle. The CV joints must be inspected after the driveshaft is fitted to ensure the joints do not bind, over-extend or bottom-out from the suspension lift. This can be achieved by removing the nut or circlip retaining the outer CV joint to the hub and pushing it back towards the differential while the vehicle is on level ground. There should be around 25mm of movement before the inner joint bottoms out. The CV boots must also be inspected and adjusted if required with the wheels on level ground to prevent the bellows from rubbing each other. Failure to follow these precautions may result in CV joint or boot failure which will not be covered by warranty.

*A professional fitter is recommended when fitting CVs to avoid tearing of the rubber boot or damage to the shaft either during the installation or when in use after installation. Warranty of damage caused by self fitment may not be processed.

** Roadsafe CVs are supplied by manufacturer GSP. GSP group is the leading manufacturer of automotive driveline components for the worldwide aftermarket. The company was established in 1985 and produces drive shafts, constant velocity joint kits, hub assemblies wheel bearings and rubber-to-metal components. As such, some packaging may reflect our various suppliers that sell the GSP driveshaft.
