Introducing MDK Engineering, Products that have been designed and tested for the Y62 platform exclusive to The 4wd Shed.

At the 4wd Shed we are excited to work with MDK engineering, a company that shares our passion for 4wding and bringing innovative products to market, solving the many problems and cost associated with modifying the Y62 suspension.

All MDK products have designed in CAD by qualified BEng Mech SA & IAME engineers and meet ADR design requirements and are road legal under VSB14. Manufacturing locally allows prototypes to be tested and tweaked in the real world then thoroughly tested both on and off road to ensure both fit and performance. Our local manufacturing also allows lead times to be reduced and customisation.

Our Y62 Patrol Rear Diff drop kit drops the diff 40mm, more importantly it also moves the rear diff forward 12mm, bringing your axles inline with the diff. This is important to reduce the CV angle when raising the Y62s, once fitted the diff drop kits reduce the stress/angles CVs go under once lifted, resulting in less damage to your 4WD.

Kit Includes:

• 2 x Custom Machined Bolts
• 2 x Diff Drop Brackets
• 2 x M16x45 Fine Bolts Nuts
• 2 x M14x90 Fine Bolts Nuts
• 4 x Washers
• 2x M14x45 Bolts
• 6 Thin M14 Washers

Suitable for all lifts above 40mm, including vehicles with Coil Lifts, Aibags & Coil Delete kits fitted. Easily installed this kit is a bolt in bolt out kit, so easily removed if required. No modification to the vehicle needed when fitting. This kit is Made, Designed & Tested here locally in Victoria.

Installation time is approx 2hrs. Allow extra time if a long range fuel tank has been fitted.
