The upgraded design also adds extra clearance between the diff housing and panhard rod, allowing aftermarket panhard rods with larger locking nuts to fit without interference, while still providing maximum protection for the differential housing and crown wheel.
This Gen-2 design is ideal for drivers tackling rocky climbs, rutted fire trails, station tracks, or heavy touring loads where diff strikes are common.
