AIRBAG SUSPENSION LOAD ASSIST KITS
BOSS air suspension has used its replacement suspension technology to manufacture a range of top-selling load assist kits. This airbag suspension kit gives your vehicle air adjustable rear suspension by using the BOSS airbag and 6mm thick brackets, enabling vehicles to carry the load they were intended to.
BOSS load assist kits are easy to fit and most simply bolt on using basic hand tools and when filled with air, raise the rear end ( when under load) to make the vehicle level again, making the vehicle safer when loaded by keeping the front wheels in contact with the road, eliminating sway and improving (wet or dry).
Full coil replacement bag kits are also available for popular coil 4wds and sedans. Boss "On Board Air" control kits can be added to all Load Assist Kits.
Load assist kits are excellent for vehicles that carry heavy loads frequently or even just intermittently! You can change your air pressure to suit the type of load you are carrying. Here at BOSS, we also offer in-cab control, meaning you can adjust your air pressure from the comfort of your car.

ABOUT BOSS AIRBAGS
Boss Airbags are well known for their unique strength and have a reputation of withstanding some of the toughest conditions in the world. It easy to say, but there is a lot of science behind the manufacturing process. It all starts with the proprietary ballistic material used in the woven reinforcing of the Airbag Wall. The spacing and angle of the weave adds to the incredible strength. The bead lock ring ends of the bag is constructed of 4 Hi-tensile cords at each end, ensuring that the top and bottom hold their shape and can’t be pulled away from the Aluminium clamping ring. The centre of the airbag (the part of the bag with the most stress) is constructed using 9 strands of Hi-Tensile steel to form an indestructible centre support. Our computer aided lamination process, with an exclusive ribbed inside texture, ensures seamless molding, lessening the possibility of failure. BEWARE: Some other brands use crimped-on end caps. Crimped or “Banded” airbags are prone to popping the end caps out at anything over 100psi and often simply pull the end caps out when the bag is fully extended, like when the wheel drops into a hole or off a curb.

BOSS airbags have a recommended test pressure of 480psi. That meets the pressure vessel industry guidelines of 3 times the maximum working pressure. BOSS airbags are undeniably the strongest in the automotive industry and exceed any other airbag brands by nearly double. When BOSS airbags are utilised in the load assist applications, it’s virtually impossible to pull the bags apart. Since BOSS started manufacturing it’s own air bags in 2005, we have never had an airbag fail from over extension.

AT BOSS WE DON’T JUST TELL YOU, WE SHOW YOU
BOSS Air Suspension airbags are manufactured in our very own factory to our specifications. Built tough for the harsh outback Australian conditions. Many other companies piece together airbag kits, they source their airbags from offshore suppliers having no control over the quality of the product, Chinese airbags, although they look good quickly deteriorate and the factories don’t enforce strict quality control like BOSS do. As a result, this leads to inconsistency in the manufacturing process. BOSS Airbags did the opposite and invested time and money in setting up our own equipment and manufacturing practices.
HISTORY
In 2005 BOSS commissioned its own premises for airbag manufacturing. Over the years we’ve been able to make adjustments in our processes to produce a truly unique airbag, both in performance and durability, and not available anywhere in Australasia. Innovative “Cord angle weaving” and “multi strand strengthening” produce an airbag that can exceed 1000psi in hydrostatic testing, and over 600psi in “shock pressure” testing, which is the most brutal test that can be done. This testing far exceeds the specification of any other air bag on the market.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Every BOSS airbag is manufactured with our own equipment using a unique proprietary blend of Natural Rubber, Hi-tensile steel cords and Ballistic woven reinforcing. The 17 hi-tensile rings are formed, and the natural rubber with the ballistic weave is placed around a mold, ready for high temperature and high pressure curing. An internal bladder is then placed inside the raw airbag, before the whole assembly is placed into our molding machine for 20 minutes. This machine creates the shape, cures the natural rubber, and creates a consistent thickness. The internal bladder is inflated at this time to over 500psi while the heat curing process is taking place. Once the airbag has taken its new form, it’s removed from the mold and left to cool naturally.

Boss Air Suspension Warranty
Your Boss product will be free from manufacturing defects and perform according to the manufacturer’s specifications provided, it is installed correctly by a competent person and is fit for purpose it is being used for. Your warranty period will vary from product to product.
BOSS Airbags have a 5 year product warranty all other products have a 1 year product warrantee from the date of purchase.
Its important to keep the invoice of Purchase so you have an accurate record of the purchase date and can produce it to Boss in the unlikely event of a problem.
Any implied warranties are limited in duration to the coverage period of this warranty (some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you). This Warranty runs in favour of the original retail purchaser when the BOSS product is used under normal operating conditions according to Boss’s specifications and installed on the appropriate application. This warranty does not apply to a product that has been improperly applied, improperly installed or used in applications it was not designed for. In addition, the warranty will not apply to products which have not been maintained and serviced according to the instructions that accompany the product.
The purchaser will be responsible for any costs incurred in removing the product from the vehicle and the cost to return of the product to the dealer or installer from which it was purchased. If it is determined that the product failed as a result of a manufacturing defect, BOSS will repair or replace, at its option, any product or components subject to this warranty. You should retain a copy of your contract with your installer and your receipt as proof of the date of installation. This warranty is non-transferable and is not assignable in any way.
BOSS specifically excludes any obligation for consequential damages or incidental expenses including claims for loss of use of the product, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial loss. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that may vary from state-to-state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. There are no warranties, express or implied, including implied warranty of merchantability and fitness which extend beyond this warranty.
